"I recently switched to State Farm with Kim Lego Insurance. I have not had to file a claim or use my policy, and have had nothing but a nightmare of an experience so far in the 2 months I chose to switch both my auto and renter’s insurance to them. My auto policy was started and written incorrectly, the state threatened to suspend my license for not having insurance, and though the suspension was prevented last second I am no longer considered a safe driver by the state for having a lapse in insurance coverage (which I never did). Additionally, the price went up $150+/month since I was quoted and sold incorrectly by their team per their own acknowledgement (this conversation was over a month after switching to them which I would have never found out until I had to reach out due to my license under threat from being suspended by their mistake). Finally, the property I rent from received a cancellation notice and fined me stating my renter’s insurance is cancelling due to non-payment per Kim Lego State Farm (I assure you my policies have been/are paid up to date monthly since switching no error on my part). At the time of this writing, my State Farm account shows my policies active so I am unsure as to why this was sent. As you can imagine, this has been very frustrating. Frankly, it feels a bit insane with the damage to my state record losing the Safe Driver license and fine from my apartment. Especially to lose my Safe Driver from the state due to their error. I can only imagine what would happen if I would need to file a claim and trust their handling of it… My hope is for nobody else to have to go through this experience and for the Kim Lego leadership team to be aware of this situation and look into preventing this from happening to other families."
